Botanical Bundle Dyeing Workshop hosted by Jasmine, where she explores the world of natural dyes, and teaches how to discover the hues of color crafted from flowers, plants, and food waste. Using this method, we'll explore the wonders of natural dyes and develop a deeper appreciation for waste, discovering ways to reuse and repurpose it.
You'll depart with:
herbal trinkets sourced from the land
native flowers for your own dyeing projects
a beautiful silk scarf botanically dyed by you
This Cyanotype Workshop, hosted by Laura Ciriaco + Luis Santana of LALU STUDIO, will be a guided walkthrough on how the alternative process works, creative elements that can be implemented, and how to bring your vision to life. We will incorporate plant materials directly sourced from the land around us.
Participants will receive:

guided cyanotype lesson for individual printmaking

Kia Islam is a yoga and meditation instructor, multidisciplinary artist, DJ and the co-founder of Good Juju. Growing up between the East Coast and the Middle East, Kia has been exposed to a plethora of devotional and cultural practices from a young age. Kia completed her 200 Hr RYT through the Bhakti Center in 2016. She has dedicated herself to a lifelong study of the healing arts, creative expression, culture and spirituality. Kia's offerings are focused on awareness of the breath while making shapes, using intuitive movement and music to inspire and nourish on all levels.
